I’ve fallen for you and I won’t get up. Can’t get up.

I was rummaging through some old papers and this is what I found. I wrote this Aug 7, 2010 at 16.
I want to be a man who impacts the people around him. I wan to be respected and honored yet respectful and give honor to where it is due. When people look at me, I want them to say ‘He is hardworking, diligent, and faithful. I can depend on him even when no one is watching.’ I want to be a gentleman. I am going to have manners. Very self-disciplined, observant, wise and full of knowledge, people person. Good at what ever I do or set out to do. I will not flirt, but treat women with respect as sisters, mothers, and grandmothers. I will treat all men as brothers, fathers, and grandfathers. I am going to be a man full of the Holy Spirit, lover of Christ and God. I am going to be a man early to rise in the morning and early to sleep at night. I am going to be wise with my money. I am going to save, invest, and tithe. I am going to be a great husband and father. I am going to treat my family right no matter how hard it is. I am going to be a man who keeps his word and doesn’t give out false promises. It is not enough for me to be only a ‘good person.’ I will raise the standard. I will care for the broken hearted and fight for those who cannot fight for themselves.
My potential is one thing. Living it out is another.
Fight the good fight.
Don’t give up.
Just do it.
